In my creative writing class we're doing something similar to a role play ^^ We're supposed to make up a character and the only requirement is that they're a writer of some sort. My friend and I decided to make a character together. We're not supposed to chose a name till after we make the character so the name reflects the person. We also have to draw her and I dunno if I can do that x.x' I want to post it up on the forum here to offer it up for people to draw but I dunno where I'm supposed to put this =x so, It'll be right here for now. Tell me if you like her. We're not done making her yet, she doesn't really have a personality that is very developed yet.




Gender – Female

Age – 13

Physical Description – medium length dark brown hair, clear blue eyes, pale skin, tall, skinny. She has rounded cheeks and her head seems round from this. In proportion to her whole head her eyes seem rather large and her nose is proportioned well. Her lips are thin and she purses them a lot. She has all of her wisdom teeth. She’s very particular about her hair, it has to be either up in a full pony tail or down slightly curly. Her nails never get too long because they break off randomly, she’s never painted them before. She used to wear glasses, but now has contacts. But on some days she’ll use glasses if she’s lazy. She likes having different eye colors for moods so often her eye color will be different from the day before.

Personality – She’s usually carefree, the only time she freaks out is when a deadline is on her. She’s pretty much always quiet because she needs to pay attention to be observant. She uses some peoples personalities she sees in her classes in her stories but only the ones online. She likes being optimistic because she found it helps her deal with the fact that no one really speaks with her. Though she prefers to be pessimistic outwardly. Since her writing is being published this proves how intelligent she is and her mind works more like that of an elder than a young kid. She hates people who don’t care for themselves or anyone else. She feels if anything should be valued in life it should be life, not only yours but those around you. She only ever gets mad when the kids at school pick on her. She only shows this when the teacher or anyone she respects isn’t around. She doesn’t like physical aggression but she will use intellectual aggression. She envies the people who have a best friend in her class, she’s not exactly sure what that’s like. She likes the warm seasons more than the cold. She has two favorite colors, green and purple.

Background – She lives in the UK, has medium wage family while the community is high class. Her writing career helps support her family in the high class society. Her mother claims how proud she is but only to others. Her father is nicer to her but still doesn’t say much because he’s at work when she’s home and at home when she’s at school. At school from time to time she is bullied, she hit a kid once when she was younger and regretted it because she made him bleed. So she’ll only resort to physical violence if she absolutely has to. She has her own writing forum online. She doesn’t talk with her family at all and they don’t really attempt it either. She talks with her pet bird all the time to make up for it. She hates the guinea pigs her family got not long after she started being published. Online she writes more mature stories but on paper she writes children stories. She gets her stories from observing the world and often writes in morals. She loves foreign countries because they aren’t where she is. She’s saving money in hopes of traveling to America to be a writer there instead.

Dress – She usually wears jeans with a hoodie because she leaves her window open most of the time so her room gets cold. She wears shirts that are longer with creative designs on them. Also, she wears normal tennis, she doesn’t really care about shoes. Sometimes she has unique hats from time to time, also unique socks though they’re never seen because she wears jeans most of the time. She doesn’t really care what she wears as long as it’s comfortable and colorful. She doesn’t like formal wear, she likes to just be comfy. She really enjoys dressing up for Halloween and any other day she can wear unique outfits.

Pets – Cockatoo named Ru that is white with light pink and yellow feathers on its head. He talks and is very smart; he only lives in a cage when she’s not home. The two guinea pigs that spend their time with the rest of the family. One is gray who is very adventurous and loves carrots. The other is black and more of a follower, he digs holes into everything. She doesn’t like animals; the only one she really cares for is Ru.

Habits – She reads mature books, is a candy addict, and always draws her characters. Her stories always have a main moral to them, the mature and the children stories. Talks more with her bird than with people. She reads the newspaper to find out about news around her and around the world everyday. She constantly rearranges her icons on her desktop and her wallpaper on it too. She takes a lot of pictures, never constantly though, but she’ll take a lot for one week then not take more till the next month. She really enjoys playing games online with other people but doesn’t have much time to do so when she has to keep writing. She keeps a journal but only writes in the things that are interesting or funny.

Living arrangements - She has stuffed animals only to hide her maturity. Her walls are a light pink; it would look white if you don’t compare it to something white. Her room is moderate sized; her bed takes up the far corner while her desk with her computer and random papers strewn on it takes the other far corner. Her floor is carpeted light blue. In the middle of her floor is an area rug that is dark blue with an elegant design of gold and cream. The wall that has her bed is filled with pictures she’s taken over the years. On the wall across from her window, which is between her bed and desk, is Ru’s cage. By Ru’s cage on the floor she has a refrigerator that holds his fruits and vegetables and it also has some drinks in there for her for convenience. Her room is kept very clean and pretty orderly, it’s only messy if her little brother comes in.

Desk – It takes up as much room as her bed. Under the desk is a mat so her chair can slide. The right corner of her desk is her 22’’ computer screen and backlit keyboard. The mouse is wireless so there’s less on the desk. The mouse pad has a picture of cake on it. By the mouse to the right is her cell phone which is a red Juke, she never uses it though except to take a business call for a children’s book she wrote. To the left of the computer is a pile of papers that hold her stories in progress. A pile to the left of that is of her character drawings. At the top of the desk is a container with candy. In the top left corner is a box that holds all her color pencils, crayons, and markers.

Closest to her – There is no person closest to her, but if a person had to be chosen it would be her little brother because she has to watch after him sometimes and he baby talks with her. Really though, the closest one to her is Ru, her pet bird. He’s very intelligent and loves fruits, veggies, and nuts. He doesn’t like candy at all and doesn’t know how she can like it. Whenever she has a writing block he offers ideas to get her unstuck. He also lets her bounce idea’s off of him and he might bring something up for a twist. He’s often let outside to around after she’s done with school and is expected back at 8 pm every night. Even though he’s asked to be back then he always arrives early so she won’t be lonely or alone for long. Ru also dislikes the cold very much.

On the Job Situation(Journal entry) – Today I was talking with Ru and Mom came busting into my room yelling and fretting in my doorway. Apparently, the pigs had gotten lose in the house. Me, not caring in the least, stood up and reassured her it was alright and that they’d be found. I turned to Ru, who was sitting on my desk, and told him to go find them. As soon as he opened his wings Mom freaked out worse. She started screaming in practically horror as he flew out of my room and down the hall. Like I said, I don’t care about the pigs. My mom threatened me before following Ru and I swung my door so it would muffle all the noise. I sat at my chair laughing, she can be so stupid; they’re going to be in the house somewhere, why freak out? As I sat there hoping Ru wouldn’t actually eat them I heard him waddle through the door then fly by me on the desk. I looked at him seriously and asked if he ate them and he said, ‘Yum!’ Knowing he didn’t mean it I gave him a handful of fruit and for me, a lolly pop, for my job well done as well.
